The warm greeting upon arrival and the exquisite full English breakfast set the tone for a delightful stay. The quaint feel of the pub made it very cozy and welcoming.

Charming double room with character befitting an old building. it had a cozy atmosphere that felt welcoming. Enjoyed the garden despite some wear and tear, which added a bit of rustic charm.

The bathrooms could definitely use an update. the old-fashioned mixer tap takes a bit of getting used to. The overall decor in the rooms felt a bit tired and unloved, lacking the vibrancy you’d expect given the otherwise nice ambiance. Garden furniture desperately needs replacing. it’s hard to relax on old, worn-out seats, and the tables could use a good cleaning.

Such a lovely, quaint spot with a charming beer garden and cozy rooms. The large cafetiere for coffee was a real treat!

Perfect for a weekend escape

The staff were incredibly nice and remembered us from last year which made us feel special. The food was simply amazing, especially breakfast with fresh ingredients and big portions.

It wasn’t cheap but definitely acceptable.

The warm welcome made all the difference during our stay, especially the delicious breakfast options and the comfy beds with crisp linens waiting for us after a fun wedding celebration. For relaxation, the cozy lounge area and lovely outdoor seating were fantastic. The only downside was that the room felt a bit smaller than expected, but overall it was a great experience! 😊

Exceptional stay with an accommodating atmosphere. The staff went beyond expectations to ensure comfort, even organizing fuel for a guest. The homemade sausages at breakfast were a highlight, served hot and flavorful. Despite the chef being unwell, the alternative takeaway suggestion was a great workaround, maintaining an enjoyable dining experience.

Great staff and comfy stay!

The staff here were super nice, and the bed was really comfy. I loved the fresh poached egg at breakfast! The only bummer was the step to the en-suite—it felt a bit dodgy. Location is quiet and perfect for a chill getaway.

We had an incredibly warm welcome. The room featured an electric kettle, flat-screen TV, and comfortable bed with high-quality linens. The shower had good water pressure. Breakfast was a delight, offering locally sourced ingredients. The garden view was serene and made for a lovely atmosphere. A great spot for exploring the beautiful countryside trails.
